New Ulm Area Foundation grants are awarded twice each year in the spring and the fall. Click on the year below to view previous grant recipients.

Some of our significant major grants include:

  • $25,000 for the German Park Amphitheater. This helped bring the seating area into ADA-compliance so more members of the community can attend and enjoy events. (2019)
  • $25,000 for the State Street Theater’s capital campaign. (2017-2019)
  • $35,000 to support the establishment of the 4 Pillars Gallery at The Grand Center for Arts & Culture. (2012-2014)
  • $50,000 for the establishment of soccer fields. This extraordinary grant was made in support of exponential growth in youth participation and the economic impact it was having via tournaments, etc. (2008-2009)
