On January 13, 2015 the New Ulm Area Foundation celebrated their 2014 Fall Grants at a breakfast at Lola’s American Bistro. All of the organizations that received grants were represented. Everyone had a chance to learn about all of the worthwhile and fun events going on in New Ulm.
The fall grants for 2014 awarded were as follows:
The Irish Cultural Society of New Ulm received $1,000 for the Great Irish Fair of New Ulm 2015, District #88 received $1,750 for the artist in residence program and Junior Achievement received $2,200 for the JA Biz Town Junior Achievement program. The New Ulm Area Foundation makes grants semi annually to non-profit organizations in the community for projects that serve the focus areas of arts, education, economic development and historic preservation.
