Lisa Besemer is a lifelong New Ulm resident.
She has been an agent with New Ulm Real Estate since 2011. Prior to that she worked at Frandsen Bank & Trust for 23 years. Lisa has two daughters, Jenna and Brittany, and
four grandchildren. She currently serves on the Boards of State Street Theater and ISD 88 Foundation. Lisa has also served on the Board/Committees of Brown County Historical Society, NU Convention & Visitors Bureau, Brown
County Extension Service, United Way of the Brown County Area, New Ulm Retail, Junior Achievement and Junior Pioneers of the New Ulm Area. She was the recipient of the Athena® Award in 2011, Realtor with Heart Award from the Realtors of Southern MN Assoc. in 2016 and named Tourism Person of the Year in 2023 from the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce.
Carisa Buegler is the Director of Operations at New Ulm Medical Center, where she has served for 18 years, and has nearly 26 years of experience in program and community development, operations, communications and marketing, and strategic planning. Carisa is married to Darrin Buegler and has two sons, Jaxon and Mason. Carisa’s current and past volunteer commitments include leading the 2022 ISD#88 Referendum Committee,
chairperson of the City of New Ulm Park and Recreation Commission, founding board member of the ISD#88 Foundation, Rotarian, and board member of Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement and the City of New.
