Colleen Skillings
Colleen Skillings was raised in New Ulm. She graduated from the College of St Benedict and
worked at the Legislative Auditors Office in St. Paul until returning to New Ulm in 1989. She
worked for Biebl, Ranweiler and Co. (now Clifton Larson Allen) for 10 years as a CPA. In 2000,
she joined Minnesota Valley Testing Laboratories, Inc. (MVTL) as the CFO and Human
Resource Director and now serves as the CEO.
Outside of work, Colleen is a board member of Nuvera Communications, treasurer of the New
Ulm Rotary Club, Public Utilities Commissioner and Board President of Sunset
Apartments. Colleen has formerly served on boards for Southern Minnesota Initiative
Foundation, Oak Hills Living Center, EON, Inc., and various other organizations during her time
in New Ulm. Colleen and her husband Bob live in New Ulm. They have two grown sons and a
daughter in law, Ted, Michael and Anna.
