Guidelines for Grant Process
New Ulm Area Foundation focuses its granting in the four areas (pillars) of the arts, education, economic development and historic preservation and on projects that serve the community within the geographic boundaries of ISD 88.
The following are the guidelines to determine if your organization qualifies for consideration. If you feel you do, we encourage you to apply. If you’re not sure, we’ll be happy to review it with you.
Sometimes applicants ask if they can see the questions/requests before they start filling out the form on-line. The attached PDF lists all of the fields for the application form. It may be helpful to type the longer responses onto a blank document, then copy & paste them into the corresponding data fields in the on-line form.
Submission Dates
New Ulm Area Foundation’s grants are awarded twice each year. Applications accepted by March 15 are awarded in May and applications accepted by August 15 are awarded in October.
